Summary:
TAL 3 focuses on building independence in performance. You’ll develop techniques for rehearsals, auditions, and character work, creating a personalised toolkit for practice outside class.
You’ll explore various acting approaches through practitioners like Uta Hagen and Ken Rea, work with monologues, duologues and physical theatre approaches. The course encourages reflection, feedback, and by the end, you’ll confidently apply your skills in performance.
The course concludes with an informal showcase, where you’ll present short scenes in small groups. This final sharing helps manage nerves and celebrates your progress with the TAL community.
Please note that course content may occasionally change depending on student numbers or tutor availability.
