Our Pricing-Why It Is What It Is
Prices vary by location - Our courses currently range between £455 and £515 per term, depending on the location.
What You’re Actually Buying
Every term includes:
• 10 lessons, each 2.5 hours long (25 hours of structured training)
• A full end-of-term Showcase
• Personalised feedback
• Ongoing curriculum development
• Student resources
When you join The Actor's Lounge, you’re investing in consistent weekly training and a real performance experience — not a one-off workshop.
In some locations the showcase may run for an hour. In others, where over 100 students perform across multiple courses, it can become a full-day event.

Why Prices Continue to Evolve
Like every organisation, our costs have increased over the last few years.
- Venue hire has risen
- Insurance has risen
- Equipment costs have risen
- Tutor rates have risen
- Tax and business cost increases
At the same time, we are actively improving what we offer.
- We are launching a new student app
- We are expanding our tutor network
- We are developing new specialist pathways, including Screen Acting
- We are offering professional shot showreels
- We continue refining the curriculum each year
We don’t want to stand still. Growth comes with responsibility.
We are conscious that affordability matters. But we also believe that quality matters just as much. We won’t dilute the standard and quality of our training simply to keep the headline price low.
We are not trying to be the cheapest acting school. We are trying to offer excellent value for sustained, professional-level training.

Instalment Plans
We understand that paying for a full term upfront is not always convenient. For that reason, we offer an instalment option for every course.
The instalment plan allows you to spread the cost of your term across three payments.
A small administrative fee of £38.50 is added to the total course fee, and the balance is then divided into three equal instalments.
For example:
If a course costs £485:
£485 + £38.50 admin fee = £523.50
Divided into three payments of approximately £174.50
This allows you to spread the cost over roughly 60 days.
The schedule works as follows:
First payment at the time of booking
Second payment 30 days later
Final payment 30 days after that
The moment you commit to a course — whether by paying in full or by paying your first instalment — you are reserving one of a limited number of places. That place is then unavailable to another prospective student.
For this reason, we can only offer instalment plans on the understanding that the full balance will be completed, regardless of attendance or personal circumstances that may arise during the term.
In other words, once you begin, you are committing to the full course fee.
We are always willing to have a conversation. What we ask in return is commitment and communication.
Commitment & Payment Responsibility
When you enrol, you are reserving one of a limited number of places in the course. Each place represents:
- Venue hire
- Tutor allocation
- Administrative costs
- Production planning for Showcase
For this reason, once you enrol — whether paying upfront or via instalments — the full term fee remains payable, regardless of attendance.
If instalment payments are missed, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend access to the course
- Withdraw your place
- Pursue the outstanding balance
This is not something we do lightly, and it is rare. However, we must protect the sustainability of the programme for all students.
The instalment plan exists to make training more accessible — but it does not reduce the commitment to the full term.

If You Are Experiencing Difficulty
If you anticipate difficulty with payments, please contact us as early as possible.
In many cases, early communication allows us to discuss options before the situation escalates.
We are always open to constructive suggestions about pricing, structure or accessibility. If you have ideas or concerns, we welcome that conversation.

Our Commitment
We understand that when you commit to training, you are investing not just money, but time and energy.
Our responsibility is to ensure that what you receive reflects that commitment.
We review pricing carefully.
We introduce changes thoughtfully.
We aim to balance accessibility with sustainability.
If you ever have questions about pricing, progression or value, we are always happy to explain.
