Course 6 is about ownership. This term is about what you bring into the room as a performer, developing the quality of attention, presence, charisma and command that separates a competent actor from a compelling one

The course is designed for those pursuing a professional career in acting and/or looking to elevate their craft to a new level. It focuses on technical excellence and preparing for the realities of working in the performance industry.

You’ll engage in challenging script work that pushes your emotional and performance range, with focused development of technique that enables the dexterity of rapid emotional shifts. These tools are essential for building responsiveness, adaptability, and depth in character portrayal.

Sessions also delve into the practical and professional expectations of a working actor - how to carry yourself on and off stage, build a strong and memorable presence, and understand the unspoken standards of the industry.

You'll be supported by a Core Tutor and guest specialists, who will deliver tailored technique workshops to help you refine your craft.

This course is ideal for those serious about developing a competitive edge in the acting profession or life in general.

The term ends with a showcase performance, where you’ll present scenes to peers, tutors, and family. This informal event celebrates your progress and you'll experience the strong sense of the TAL community.
